The holiday season is here, and with it comes a time to reflect on what matters most: faith, family, and serving others the way Jesus calls us to. At Kunes Ford of Delavan, we believe Christmas is about more than gifts under a tree — it’s about kindness that lifts burdens, restores hope, and reminds people they are not alone.
That’s why we’re honored to be a sponsor of Life 102.5’s Christmas Kindness, now celebrating its second year of spreading the love of Christ to families in our community who are facing financial instability, medical needs, or other difficult situations. This initiative is a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with open hearts and willing hands.
And this year, we’re especially excited because one of the winners will receive a vehicle, helping them take a meaningful step forward into a brighter, more secure season of life.
What Is Christmas Kindness?
Christmas Kindness is a community-driven outreach created by Life 102.5 to bless individuals and families walking through hardship. Earlier this year, listeners were invited to nominate someone they know who could use extra help and encouragement during the holidays.
The response was overwhelming — and deeply moving.
After receiving nominations and spending time in prayerful consideration, the Life 102.5 team selected four nominees to bless this Christmas season. Each story is different, but every one reflects the same truth: kindness can be life-changing, and God’s love shows up in powerful ways through people.
Stay tuned throughout December to hear all four stories unfold. You’ll laugh, you might cry, and you’ll almost certainly be inspired by the resilience of these families and the goodness of a community stepping up.
Meet Holly: A Story of Perseverance and a New Beginning
One of this year’s nominees is Holly, whose Christmas wish wasn’t extravagant or complicated. In fact, it was something most of us take for granted every day:
- To be able to eat solid food again
- To finally have a healthy, confident smile
Since 2021, Holly has lived on a liquid- and soft-food diet due to severe dental issues. That kind of limitation affects everything — nutrition, health, confidence, and even simple moments like sitting down for a meal with loved ones.
For years, Holly has battled ongoing dental problems that have cost her thousands of dollars. She was most recently undergoing treatment for dental implants at Marquette Dental School, more than an hour away from her home in the Madison area. Even with careful budgeting, the cost kept rising.
Before she was nominated for Christmas Kindness, Holly was facing a difficult and discouraging reality: mounting bills, and a treatment plan expected to total $10,000. Like so many people in situations like hers, she began to wonder if she’d be forced to stop care halfway through — leaving her health and smile still out of reach.
But Christmas Kindness stepped in.
Through this initiative, Holly is now receiving free dental work much closer to home, removing both the financial burden and the exhausting travel time. What felt impossible just months ago is now turning into a real, hopeful path forward.
- Sometimes kindness doesn’t just “help.”
- Sometimes it restores dignity.
- Sometimes it opens doors that felt permanently closed.
Holly’s story is exactly that kind of miracle-in-motion.
A Community Effort, Powered by Generosity
Christmas Kindness isn’t possible without partners and supporters who believe in serving others. This year’s effort is made possible in part by:
- Warren Family Dental
- Kunes Auto Group (including Kunes Ford of Delavan!)
- Capstone Wealth Management
- Swita Metal Roofing
- And generous listeners who give with open hearts
At Kunes Ford of Delavan, it’s a privilege to stand alongside these organizations and individuals who are putting faith into action.
We’re not just sponsoring an event — we’re joining a mission. A mission to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our own backyard.
Why Kunes Ford of Delavan Is Involved
We live here. We raise our families here. We serve our neighbors here.
And we know that in every community, there are people quietly carrying heavy loads — medical challenges, financial setbacks, grief, caregiving responsibilities, or unexpected life turns. Often they don’t ask for help. Sometimes they don’t even know where to begin.
Christmas Kindness creates a way for the community to say:
“We see you. We care. You matter. And you’re not walking this road alone.”
That aligns deeply with who we are as Kunes Ford of Delavan and as part of the Kunes Auto Group family. We aim to be more than a dealership. We want to be a community partner that shows up when it matters.
Being able to help provide something as practical and life-changing as a vehicle to a winner is a powerful example of that commitment. Reliable transportation can mean:
- Getting to medical appointments
- Safely commuting to work
- Taking kids to school or activities
- Regaining independence
It’s not “just a car.” It’s access, stability, and opportunity.
How You Can Help Make Future Stories Possible

Please consider donating to Christmas Kindness.
Every contribution helps Life 102.5 continue to uplift families in need through tangible blessings and spiritual encouragement. Your giving makes room for more restorations, more answered prayers, and more moments of hope.
